The Sacrament of Marriage is a visible sign of God’s love for the church. When a man and woman are married in the Catholic church, they receive the grace needed for a lifelong bond of unity.
There are several steps of preparation the couple will need to complete. These steps will be explained during your first appointment with the priest. The first step you need to make in order to get married in the Catholic church is schedule an appointment for you and your fiancé to meet with the priest, at least 6 months prior to the wedding. You can contact the parish office by calling the number below to schedule that appointment.
The priest is the only one that approves wedding dates and times. No one in the office has permission to approve a wedding date. Again, call the parish office to schedule an appointment with our Priest. 361-949-7193
