2021 Lenten Giving Project

2021 LENTEN GIVING PROJECT
We are embarking on a project for the season of Lent. We will be collecting donations and will distribute to ministries listed below. Click on the links provided if you would like to learn more about each charity. We invite you to reflect on the list of items below.
You may bring your donated items to any Mass or the church office during the week.

WEEK ONE – FEBRUARY 21st
Hope House  (www.cchope.org)
· Similac Formula (Advanced, Pro-advanced, Sensitive)
· Baby Shampoo/lotion/body wash
· Breast pads & Nipple Cream
· Diapers (Preemie/newborns to 5)
· Boy/Girl Clothing (Preemie/Newborns)
· Boy/Girl Clothing (12 to 18 months)
· Baby Bottles
· Wipes

WEEK TWO – FEBRUARY 28th
Mother Teresa’s Shelter (www.motherteresashelter.org)
· Coffee
· Styrofoam cups
· Plastic spoons & forks       
· Paper towels
· Toilet tissue
· Laundry detergent
· Pancake mix
· Pancake syrup
· Cereal Boxes (any type)

 WEEK THREE – MARCH 7th

· Fruit/Peanut butter/Applesauce cups
· Breakfast bars
· Peanut butter/Cheese crackers
· Mac & Cheese
· Canned Meats (tuna, chicken, spam)
· Soups (any kind)
· Spaghetti O’s/Ravioli
· Spaghetti noodles & sauce
· Instant Oatmeal
· Body wash
· Deodorant
· Toothpaste/Brushes
· Toilet paper
· Feminine Hygiene products

WEEK FOUR – MARCH 14th

· White bath towels & wash cloths
· Bathroom/Kitchen cleaning supplies
· Aveeno baby wash & Shampoo
· Head to Toe Body wash
· Diapers or Pull ups (all sizes)
· Hair Products: (brushes/combs/gel/detangler)
· Hair Accessories (bows/barrettes, elastics)
· Lice Combs
· Paper towels
· Tide laundry detergent
· Baby Dreft detergent
· Laundry softener sheets

WEEK FIVE – MARCH 21st

· New Underwear (men/women/children all sizes)
· New Socks (men/women/children all sizes)
· Bath size towels
· New Pillow & Cases
· Blankets (twin & full)
· Lice Treatment

WEEK SIX – MARCH 28th
New Life Refuge Ministries  (www.newliferefuge.com)
· New Underwear (any size)
· New Socks (any size)
· Craft supplies
· Art supplies & acrylic paints
· Feminine Hygiene - pads only (no tampons)
· Toilet paper/Paper towels/Kleenex
·  Girls can earn gift cards $10.00 to $25.00 (Amazon) or
Local Restaurants (Chili’s, Chick-fil- A, Taco Bell, Whataburger)
